Stephen treats a wide variety of hand and wrist conditions including painful tingling and numbness, finger swelling, painful thumb joint and trigger fingers.

New patient appointment slots are available every Tuesday morning 9am-1145am and alternate Friday mornings 0930am-1145am.
These are 15minute appointment slots with assessment and examination.
Plain radiographs can be requested on the same day and interpreted. Other investigations require a separate appointment. Some treatments such as steroid injections and aspirations can be completed at the same appointment.
Costs
£140 new appointment and £90 for follow-up consultations.
Further investigations will require additional costs.
Medicolegal work
Medicolegal is something that involves both medical and legal aspects, mainly:
Medical jurisprudence, a branch of medicine
Medical law, a branch of law
In simple language it is a medical case with legal implications for the attending doctor where the attending doctor, after eliciting history and examining the patient, thinks that some investigation by law enforcement agencies is essential . Or a legal case requiring medical expertise when brought by the police for examination.
Patient scoring system
Stephen uses the Amplitude patient outcome scoring system to publish clinical results.
The system is secure and confidential and allows you to track your progress following surgery. The system uses emails to enable you to complete outcome scores. Alternatively you can use the patient portal webpage.
Annual results will be public (without patient details) from January 2017.
The Amplitude pro series uses simple technology to allow your clinician or healthcare professional to collect clinical outcomes and use them to measure a reduction in your symptoms and and improvement in your quality of life.
